Itinerary

Day 1Lima

On arrival in Lima, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Lima.

Day 2Lima City tour & Interactive Gastronomic Experience

In the morning visit the most important sites of Lima and wrap yourself in its charm and tradition. Visit the impressive historical center and go through the Main Square, The Government Palace, City Hall, The Archbishop’s Palace, and the Cathedral. You will visit the most representative Convent in Lima that displays the largest monumental group of Colonial Art found in America, here you will see and explore the architectural set of religious buildings.

Finally, take a tour through the financial and residential San Isidro district and enjoy an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean from Miraflores, the most touristic district of our city.

Then you will make a fun tour in the first gastronomic entertainment center of Peru. This new proposal offers an entertaining journey through the history of Peruvian gastronomy, through audiovisual elements, special effects, and interactive experiences all in a 4-level center located in the Miraflores – Lima area.

The experience is composed of a circuit consisting of four routes. This begins in the “Dark Ride”, an entertainment trip aboard a guided vehicle, through the beginnings of Peruvian cuisine and its different influences, through scenes accompanied by special effects.

Continuing with the tour, you enter a vineyard where the visitor can learn from the different stages of the pisco production, from the harvest, the grape tread, and the distillate, to the bottling of the pisco. Then a theme bar from the 20s is accessed, in which a master class of how to prepare pisco sour is received and its origins and evolution are narrated. As well as some information about the creator of this emblematic drink: Mr. Victor Morris.

The third tour begins with a master class of collaborative cooking by a Chef, and in which each participant prepares an emblematic dish of Peruvian cuisine. The final stage of the tour is the “The Taste of Peru” area, a recreation of the typical Peruvian market with a spectacular staging where the secrets, history, and tradition of each dish are known. It is here where everything can happen … our chefs have prepared a fun show that promises rhythm, color, and flavor, which will not stop surprising you.

In the end, you will return to the hotel and rest of the day off on your own.

Day 3Lima / Cusco – City Tour & Archaeological Park & Dinner

At the arranged time transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport for your flight to Cusco Imperial City. At arrival assistance, and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, admire the wonderful pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of Cusco city, an interesting journey where you will learn about Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), an ancient place of worship to the Sun, God of the Incas where the convent of Santo Domingo was built, gaze the beauty of Cusco city´s Main Square and admire the most representative sculptures and paintings of Cusco´s Art inside the cathedral.

Touring the city suburbs, we will visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its external walls built with huge stones cut and assembled with stunning precision.

At night, you will enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner in Calle Del Medio restaurant, a new concept in restaurants, that reflects creativity, good taste and offers a unique experience waking up the most exquisite sensations in the taste of all high cuisine lover with its Novo-Andean products. Calle Del Medio is recognized as one of the best restaurants in Cusco. Return to your hotel in Cusco on your own. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 4Cusco / Machu Picchu / Cusco

Live one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences of the world: touring Machu Picchu.

The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, go through picturesque Andean landscapes and enjoy the amazing lush jungle until you arrive at the Aguas Calientes town; here you´ll take the bus for a 30-minute drive along a zigzagging path leading to the marvelous citadel. Machu Picchu may have been home to Pachacutec, the first Inca emperor, and is now one of the New 7 Wonders of the modern world. Walkthrough go passageways and alleys of the citadel, witness the architectonic greatness of the Inca Empire, and Enjoy this unique place in the world. Take free time to enjoy the mystical energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take your train back to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 5Cusco – Cooking Classes & Choco Museum

Today we enjoy a different culinary experience being part of the process and tasting of delicious Peruvian dishes. Previously, you will be provided with recipes and ingredients so that the bartender and chef prepare the appetizer, entree, main dish, and dessert. After the Barman prepares an appetizer, you will be able to taste it, and the other dishes that make up the menu; you are invited to enjoy and participate in the preparation of each dish. After the tasting, you will be transferred to the hotel or any place in the city center.

In the afternoon, the culinary tour continues visiting the Choco Museum of Cusco, a small lounge & a coffee shop where you will prepare your own chocolate in demonstrative lessons. Here you will see the whole process to get the chocolate from the cocoa bean up to the exquisite finished product. This activity is recognized as one of the best activities to do in Cusco. Accommodation in Cusco.

Note: The lessons take about 2 hours and chocolates will be picked up 35 minutes after their preparation.

Day 6Cusco / Lima

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima for your international connection flight.
