More than 2100 guests of the MSC Magnifica cruise ship enjoyed the main Lima attractions and Peruvian cuisine on their recent tour in the capital city.

The large boat, which will cover 23 countries on 5 continents, arrived last week at the Callao port. And the hundreds of travelers were welcomed by a folkloric show with the most representative dances of Peru.

During the two days that the MSC Magnifica was in Peruvian lands, tourists made 15 excursions, including visits to the emblematic places of Lima, such as the Historic Center and the seafront seawalls.

In addition, as a sign of the warmth of the Peruvian people, the captain, and the general manager of the aforementioned company received bags from the ‘Mensaje en la maleta‘ campaign, full of star export products such as pisco, superfoods, special coffees, alpaca chullos, and crafts.

Peruvian cuisine couldn’t be absent in the proposal offered to guests, so a contemporary menu was designed by James Berckemeyer, which had national inputs such as black quinoa, yellow chili pepper, yellow pepper, pumpkin loche, chicha de Jora and lucuma.

The MSC Magnifica has attractions such as a casino, disco, bowling, four restaurants, 11 bars, and a 4D cinema. In addition, it is going around the world in 117 days, departing from Genova (Italy) and passing through cities like Mindelo (Cape Verde), Salvador de Bahia (Brazil), Montevideo (Uruguay), Ushuaia (Argentina), Puerto Montt (Chile), Sydney (Australia) and Bali (Indonesia), among others.
